Here’s what I love about the location on Liuxian Boulevard — you’re right in the heart of Shenzhen’s tech district, but it doesn’t feel corporate and sterile. Nanshan District is where all the innovation happens (think Tencent headquarters nearby), yet you’ve got parks, shopping, and actual neighborhoods within walking distance. Couples especially seem to get this area — there’s something romantic about those evening strolls through the tree-lined streets, and honestly, the city views from this part of town are pretty spectacular.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was on the 18th floor, and you know what struck me first? The floor-to-ceiling windows. During the day, you get these sweeping views of the district’s skyline, and at night — well, Shenzhen knows how to light up. The bed was that perfect Sheraton standard (firm but comfortable), and the bathroom had one of those rainfall showers that actually works properly. Small detail, but the blackout curtains are excellent if you’re dealing with jet lag.

Dining and Amenities

The breakfast buffet is where this place really shines. I’m talking proper international selection — fresh dim sum, Western classics, and a coffee station that doesn’t make you miss your local café. The restaurant staff keeps everything well-stocked even during busy morning rushes, which tells you something about their operation. There’s also free parking on-site, which honestly saves you a headache in this part of the city where finding a spot can be a real challenge.

You’re getting genuine five-star service and amenities, but it’s in a location that actually makes sense for exploring Shenzhen. It’s the kind of hotel where you can impress clients during the day and still have a comfortable, well-appointed retreat at night.

  We love everything! We were warmly welcomed by the team under Nana, Neal, Susan and Michelle. Check in was a breeze and we were given welcome drink. Since we had our 4 year old child with us, Nana was thoughtful to give us 2 bottles of water and some biscuits when we made our way out the 2nd day.
  
  The hotel room size at 40+ sqm was perfect for a family of 3. We had bath tub in our room and our child love to soak in it daily and the program selection was interesting. Wifi was one of the best and we could even watch YouTube programs in this hotel. Awesome!
  
  The house keeping team had done a great job to ensure our towels were changed and room was tidy. Special mention and grateful thanks to housekeeper Mei Zhi who left us a sweet message and enough bottled water since we had a little one.
  
  Check out was just as smooth and we were warmly served by another team, Jia Ling and Louis. Very thoughtful to give us some biscuits for our little one though we were checking out. The service is consistent and professional.
  
  The location was ideal as there was a street of eating places and a mall and metro station within walking distance.
  
  We felt rejuvenated after the 4 night stay.

  The staff are nice and friendly. I'm impressed that when my son cried, the staff gave him a Merriot teddy bear. That's so sweet!
  I like the swimming pool and the gym room. My family and I had a wonderful time there.
  
  The dinner buffet is also great. There are many choices.
