The metro connections are solid, and I mean really solid — you can get to the city center or even cross into Hong Kong without much hassle. What recent guests keep mentioning (and I totally get this) is how couples find this area perfect for exploring together, probably because it feels more authentic than the typical hotel districts.

The Room Experience

The room design definitely leans into that movie theme without being cheesy about it. You’ll find clean lines, good lighting for actually reading or working, and — this matters more than you’d think — proper blackout curtains that actually block light. The beds are comfortable enough that you won’t wake up planning your next hotel, and the bathrooms are well-designed with decent water pressure. Storage space is thoughtful too, which you appreciate after living out of a suitcase for a while.

Practical Considerations

What works really well here is how everything just… functions. The WiFi doesn’t drop every ten minutes, the air conditioning responds when you adjust it, and housekeeping doesn’t wake you up at 7 AM.   The location is quite close to the station, about a 4-5 minute walk. As its namesake, it has very nice theater set up in the room with surround sound. There isn't a huge selection of English language movies, so you'll have to click around, and probably have some minimal Chinese reading ability… otherwise just do as I do and click like nuts – you'll probably eventually get something you run into.
  
  Breakfast isn't free or a buffet, but for about 50 RMB you have a pretty good breakfast consisting of a lot of different things on one serving tray.
  
  The room is quite clean and you can completely block out the window lights with the click of a button. Quite a unique experience! The front desk staff is friendly and helpful.
